As a child, she loved exploring nature and reading comic books. She went to college, got a degree in fine arts for children, and started writing. Later, she went back to school at UCLA and became a dentist. She has three grown sons and lives in Southern California. She enjoys going to museums, gardening, and traveling. Together with her husband, David Clemesha, she writes and illustrates picture books. <p/>David Clemesha grew up in England and moved to the United States when he was sixteen. He has always loved playing tennis, drawing, and reading. He went to college, received a degree in English, and became an elementary school teacher. With his wife, Andrea, they are the authors of <i>All Buckled Up</i>, <i> My Dog Toby</i>, <i> The Cow Buzzed</i>, and<i> Trashy Town</i>, which was an ALA Notable Book. He loves studying, being with his family, and going to museums.
