For additional units, students will study various places, and how culture and geography are related. With a focus on smaller-scale maps like town and city maps, students will learn: cardinal directions; use of a key/legend; how to identify landforms; rural vs. urban locations; natural resources; relative locations; and what is farther or nearer from a point. Aligned to state standards and National Geography Standards, this resource includes digital materials.
