She was also long-listed for the Booktrust's The Big Picture, Best New Illustrators Award, in 2008. Laura presents her books and give workshops at festivals, bookstores, schools and activity centres throughout Britain. Her books have been widely praised in high profile reviews, including <i>The Sunday Times</i> and <i>The Guardian</i>.
