He is a co-author of <em>Music in Pacific Island Cultures: Experiencing Music, Expressing Culture</em> (2011, Oxford University Press), and his work has appeared in numerous publications including <em>Yearbook for Traditional Music</em>, <em>The Galpin Society Journal</em>, and <em>Ethnomusicology</em>.</p>
