Any girl raised around horses will be able to relate to this story and the events that surround being part of a barn. Even girls who have never been on a horse and have only dreamed of them will enjoy reading this book. It will bring them into the horse world and leave them with a better understanding of the horse lifestyle. Horse terminology is explained in the book, so even if you're not well versed, you will not be lost. I tend to only finish books I truly enjoy and I wanted to keep reading and find out what happened to the characters.
