The two passenger cars, Clarabel and Annie, easily attach to the engine car using hook couplers. With this ready-to-play set comes an exclusive track system which allows you to create a circle, a rectangle, or an oval layout with 24 curved tracks and 8 straight plastic track pieces. The remote control is designed for easy use. The marked buttons allow the train to go forward, reverse, and make whistle and bell sounds. The remote control requires 3 AAA batteries, while the battery-powered Thomas steam engine requires 6 C cell batteries.
