He has worked with Oscar and Grammy nominees to tell their stories and develop their business goals. <p/>Addison has interviewed such notables as George C. Fraser, Chairman & CEO of FraserNet, Inc.; Joset <br>Wright-Lacy, former President of the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council; Clifton R. Wharton, Jr., Pioneer, and former U.S. Deputy Secretary of State; former U.N. Ambassador Andrew Young; former 3-time Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali; Olympian Jesse Owens, Filmmaker / Author Gordon Parks, Sr., and others. <p/>A broadcast media professional with 20+ years of experience, he has developed programming for PBS television / CPB, WMBM, WINZ - CBS, WPLG - ABC/CNN, NBC - WVAG. He has coordinated events for the Olympics and the NFL, served as PAO / Journalist for the Department of Defense and is former Marketing Director for the USTA, Kentucky Region. He is also the former executive producer / host of the National Black Business Report which broadcast to some 14 million households via Public Broadcast Stations in the U.S. and Caribbean. <p/>An advocate of educational, community and civic issues, Addison has provided advisory input to numerous organizations via the Consortium for Policy Research in Education members- University of Southern California (USC), Harvard University, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Michigan State University, Stanford University, University of Wisconsin - Madison and others. <p/>Addison, a former Department of the Army Excellence Award winner founded the Not-for-Profit Positive Images That Invoke Self-Esteem Institute (P.I.T.I.S.E.) which has positively impacted thousands of at-risk youth. P.I.T.I.S.E. programs have been implemented in Public Schools, Charter Schools, Family Resource Centers, Youth Centers, Housing and Urban Development Resource Centers and the Department of Defense. He has been recognized by former First Lady Michelle Obama, the Department of Justice, the Commonwealth of Virginia Attorney General's Office, Parents, Veterans, Educators, and others. <p/>Now as author of Moments in the Shadow of Greatness Volume One, he is using a portion of the book sales to provide copies to the libraries of underrepresented schools, Juvenile facilities, and correctional institutions to motivate and inspire others to make the world a better place for all.
