Michael is the former director of the Cornell University Education Department Tutoring Program, the winner of the "Best New Educational Material" for his work with the United States Institute of Peace, and is a former Presidential Management Fellow with the US State Department where his analysis was regularly delivered to the Secretary of State and National Security Council. He left politics to become a writer and teacher, and has since written for Oscar-winning director Barry Levinson among others, but his true joy is listening to stories from his four year old son Lucas. </p>
