She lives in a small town outside of New York City with her family and two dogs. <p/>Barbara Bakos grew up in a suburb of Budapest next to a little forest. After graduating from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest, she worked as an art director and character and background designer for clients such as Disney Junior. A true artist at heart, Barbara's passion for creating whimsical worlds for her characters and exploring their stories helped her transition into the colorful world of children's books as a full-time illustrator. She also enjoys travelling, but misses her big ginger cat and her favorite Johnny Cash discs while out on the road. Visit her website at CargoCollective.com/BarbaraBakos.
