A great holiday read. (Female Reader) I don't read many short stories but these really engaged me. Cleverly constructed, beautifully written and with some delightful twists in the tail, they are a comfortable, easy read when you have a few minutes to spare and want to switch off. I particularly enjoyed 'Easy pickings' which was very evocative of London's bustling streets. Thoroughly enjoyed them. (Female reader) I enjoyed everyone of these stories. Having thoroughly enjoyed 'The Water Gypsy' I was looking forward to reading more from this author, and as soon as I started 'The Cappuccino Collection' I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed. Once again, this was unputdownable. As before, I had no idea what would happen next, with gripping storylines and memorable characters. The stories in this collection are all completely different, some funny, some romantic ... and each time I finished one I couldn't wait to find out what the next one would be about. Highly recommended. A collection of fun, romantic, energizing short stories. Some stories are more than that. Thee are the kind of stories I would read with a good glass of wine, seated by a warm fire, and when I want to feel good. Light and airy stories just like cappuccino. I highly recommend this collection as a gift for your best girlfriends or yourself. 'm not usually a fan of short stories but loved the authors other book. I was not disappointed. Each story was well written and in depth. Many I wished would have been longer and more detailed.<br>
