We know we need to pray but often we don't know how or what to pray. Taking the Mountain of Education is written for those who want to pray informed prayers that will target the root problems of the issues we face in American Education. Ten historical events or entities, called entry points, are identified that led us to a humanistic school system. Each entry point has a unique prayer strategy that targets the root causes of humanism in our schools. This book is for anyone who wants to see reformation in America's schools.<p/><br></br><p><b> About the Author </b></p></br></br>Nancy Huff has always been in education is some form or another. She taught Jr. High and High School mathematics in public and private schools. She has a B. S. E. in Mathematics and a Master's degree in English as a Second Language. Fifteen years ago she resigned teaching to found Teach the Children International (TCI), a nonprofit organization that reaches out to children at risk in the United States and abroad. Internationally TCI reaches out to refugee children. TCI sponsored a program called "Take a Walk That Will Change Eternity." Individuals and churches are trained to prayerwalk schools and then adopt that school for the purpose of providing service projects that encourage students, teachers, administrators and support staff. TCI sponsored city-wide call to prayer meetings for schools located in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. In order to pray for education more effectively, Nancy researched the history of our educational system. This book is an outgrowth of her discoveries.
