She grew up in New York City and then raised her children in Aspen, Colorado, where she has been living for the past 25 years. Kris has a medical background and was a health care provider for 20 years, with a focus on caring for children. Her passion for children comes naturally and is the reason she wanted to become a writer. Kris believes that all children need a solid foundation of love and stability and that they should be encouraged to discuss their anxieties and fears. Her first book, Nini Bells: She's Got This, aims to comfort little ones and show them that their struggles should be explored and heard.
