The Markbass Little Mark Vintage D2 500W tube-hybrid bass amp head offers even more refined feature set from the Little Mark Vintage. It features a semi-parametric EQ for a wider range of tone options, boost with level control and on/off switch for limiter. And that’s in addition to the warm tube preamp, the balanced DI out with real transformer and gold-plated circuits. The Little Mark Vintage D2 is part of the Gold Series, a state-of-the-art lineup offering superior quality and eye-catching looks. Tube Preamp Little Mark Vintage D2 features a Tube Preamp to get rich and warm tone full of harmonics. New semi-parametric EQ Low and High fixed-frequency controls and two semi-parametric controls of Little Mark Vintage D2 allow to tailor bass sound to perfection, choosing the frequencies in the mid-low and mid-high ranges that want to boost or cut. These features are useful when have to compensate for bad venue acoustics, optimize place in the mix, or reduce feedback from acoustic bass guitar or double bass. And theres a 2-way switch with two useful EQ preset options to quickly get a real Flat setting or an Old one with a scooped high for old vintage-style tone. Boost The Boost control allows to boost signal level by up to +12 dB, to instantly give more clean headroom whenever need it. The Boost can be turned ON/OFF thanks to the optional dual footswitch which is very handy to help stand out when taking a solo. Limiter ON/OFF switch This switch offers a modern reaction of the dynamic limiter when set it on, or an old generation behavior with its typical distortion when putting it off. Real DI box The balanced DI out with real transformer is optimized to give pure, full, rich sound on all frequencies. Although Little Mark amp heads already feature high-quality DI circuitry, the transformer upgrades the DI performance offering a real DI box inside the head, handling extreme transients without introducing any distortion or coloration. Gold Line Top Features As it happens in the Gold Line series, the Little Mark Vintage D2 features gold plated circuits and top quality selected components, providing the purest and cleanest sound can imagine. Mute and ON/OFF Boost Footswitchable Mute is one of the most requested features in order to tune or switch an instrument in a silent way. The optional Dual Footswitch also allows to turn the boost on/off.
