Book Synopsis

As every fashion conscious girl knows you can never have too many bags and vintage is a key look from couture to high street. The bags in this book draw inspiration from the 20s - 50s. The 20 projects are suitable for all levels and there are four matching purse designs that can be adapted to any bag. Patterns and seam allowances are also included. Patterns for all the bags are included and all have seam allowances added already so that the book is not just inspirational, it's practical too, providing everything you need to know to take your bag from being a beautiful idea to a finished item. The bags are made from easily acquired materials using straightforward techniques and come in a range of beautiful shapes that give them a really stunning and unique look.

About the Author

Emma Brennan trained as a broadcast journalist and worked for the BBC and independent radio, as a newsreader, researcher and reporter.
