HobNob's name implies getting together, socializing, and even the clinking of glasses. Grapes are harvested at the optimal time in the beautiful region of Languedoc in the South of France. The grapes are vinified traditionally with care and passion by skilled winemakers. After the initial maceration, malolactic fermentation takes place for 3 weeks to bring out the full natural fruit character. Part of the wine is then oak aged for 8 weeks to develop fine tannins and structure. Deep ruby in color with aromas of raspberry and cherry and flavors of vanilla. Medium-bodied with soft tannins and a subtle spice finish.
