His main interests are noninvasive prospecting applied to cultural heritage, inversion approaches applied to GPR data, reconfigurable stepped frequency GPR systems, and TDR probes. He chaired the 13th International GPR Conference in 2010 and was publication chair of the 15th Mediterranean Microwave Symposium in 2015. He is president of the Italian Association of the GPR (www.gpritalia.it).
