It's ideal for the beginner trying to get off on the right foot, as well as the intermediate artist looking for ways to freshen up their approach.</p><p/><br></br><p><b> About the Author </b></p></br></br><p>Phoenix artist <b>Julie Gilbert Pollard</b> has taught classes since 1985, and currently teaches at the Scottsdale Artists' School, Shemer Art Center and Cynthia's Art Asylum in the greater Phoenix area, as well as the Highland Valley Studios in California, Dillman's Creative Arts Foundation in Wisconsin and La Romita School of Art in Umbria, Italy. Julie is a signature member of the San Diego Watercolor Society. Her work is included in many private and corporate collections and she is represented in Arizona by Esprit Decor Gallery in Phoenix and Windrush Gallery in Sedona. Julie is the author of <i>Brilliant Color</i> (North Light Books, 2009) and has been featured in <i>The Artist's Magazine</i> (May 2010) and <i>100 Ways to Paint Landscapes</i> (International Artist, 2004).
