The cosy illustrations tell of the hug's journey from giver to recipient with descriptions of how a hug feels and the way it skips about the world. A soothing story in rhyme making it perfect to share at bedtime, where it can become a focus for talking about love, separation and sharing.

A warming, wonderful tale and a book to keep for generations.

Readers of the Invisible String may enjoy this.

About the Author and Illustrator

A poem written for a little girl five years ago became transformed when Ursula asked her mother Sue to illustrate the verses.
