Features of the SWS 1/48 F-4EJ Kai "302nd Squadron"! The nose of the aircraft has been extended due to the long nose's unique Vulcan cannon. In addition, a total of seven Lightning Strips have been added to the nose radome of the F-4EJ Kai, and a long flash hider is equipped at the end of the fairing. Note the ECM pods mounted on the underside of the fuselage. Since the 302nd Wing was established at Chitose Air Base in Hokkaido, the unit mark is drawn in the motif of a white-tailed eagle, with the wings, tail, and legs each representing the unit name "302". The F-4EJ Kai made its last flight at Hyakuri Air Base on March 19, 2019, and was transferred to Misawa Air Base on March 26, 2019. The squadron was newly formed as the first squadron in the Air Self-Defense Force to operate the next-generation F-35A fighter aircraft. Parts molded in gray and clear, made of plastic in 1/48 scale.
